Manage a server

The dashboard lists your servers and their current states. Open a server to see Overview, Usage, Snapshots, and Access. Controls depend on its state; an operation may be unavailable while another change is in progress.

Overview shows configuration and addresses. Usage shows collected resource and network activity. Use application monitoring as well when you need to understand errors, response times, or database behavior.

Reboot restarts the server. Save work and account for the interruption to running applications before using the control. The dashboard updates as the server returns to service.

Rebuild reinstalls the selected operating system and erases the server’s current data. Export what you need and prepare a recovery path before confirming.

Choose Rebuild, select an operating system, and acknowledge the data removal. New credentials appear in Access when ready. Read the completion notice about whether registered SSH keys need to be installed again.

Remove permanently deletes the server and its data. First export anything you need to keep. Select Remove and type the hostname exactly to confirm.

Data Hall stops the server’s recurring billing before requesting deletion. Wait for the removal to finish and check the subscription state in Billing. If an error is shown, contact Support rather than assuming the operation completed.
